About us - Some History

I started this business entirely by accident.

Way back in 2002 I designed and built a website for one of my first clients, Spectrum Lighting, Inc. of Austin, TX. They were starting from scratch and needed a simple website to share with their customers. They needed everything: the website domain name, the website design, the content, etc. They also needed a place to host it. Originally, I referred them to another company I had used for my own webhosting in the past and set everything up for them. It wasn't long before they had problems and needed customer support. As with many online businesses, their webhosting provider had almost zero customer support. You could email and leave trouble tickets, but there was no one you could talk to right away or email directly who could fix the problem.

I knew I had to come up with a better solution. After some research and trial and error, I set up my own webhosting company and started packaging webhosting along with my usual web design services. Instead of letting the customer fend for themselves, we take care of everything from end to end. The client pays one company and deals with one company. It was a big hit.

Gradually, we've grown and added services, but the core philosophy remains the same: serious service. As a service company, we're not happy until you're happy. Seriously. We stand behind everything we do. If you're not happy, we don't deserve your money. We'll work until we do.

It's that simple.
